I think this video shows all the different emotions and feelings we feel on speech day. Most of us hate giving speeches and if you don't then your just weird. The point this video is trying to make is we all hate public speaking no matter if its to one person, a class, or to the whole nation. Do you not think President Obama gets nervous when he speaks? Well he does. Everyone gets nervous and scared but its how you control it that makes you the speaker you are. Some people think of the crowd in their underwear when they speak or hold on to a small object like a paper clip or penny to take away the nerves. Let me tell you it doesn't work for me. When I do the underwear trick it just turns on me, to where I'm the one who is in my underwear and then I just freeze. The Paper clip trick works for a little while, but then my hands get sweaty and it starts to slip from my hand, and then I'm focusing on the paperclip instead of the speech and I lose my spot. I think one thing we can learn from this video is that everyone gets nervous so don't make a big deal of giving a speech. If you prepared yourself and studied your speech then you know it, and there is no reason to be nervous so just go out and have fun with it.
